Once again Ternium took part of Colombia’s Gran Salón Ferretero hardware show. On July 12 and 13, the largest meeting of hardware sector was held in Bogota. It brought together major exhibits from the construction, maintenance, infrastructure and, of course, steel industries. More than 8.820 people attended and enjoyed the opportunity to learn about the sector’s latest innovations.
Ternium took part at the event, as it reinforced its commitment to innovation and its proximity to customers. In addition, it shared the wide range of steel products it offers to the market.
A space for innovation and dialogue
At the Gran Salón Ferretero our team met with customers, colleagues and suppliers who actively participated in discussions related to industry trends and transformations. In addition to showcasing our products and services, we also promoted the exchange of ideas and collaboration to drive innovation and sustainable growth in the industry.
Luis Villanueva, the company's commercial director, reaffirmed this purpose: "We are here to show the broad portfolio of steel products to the Colombian market. These are manufactured with high quality standards, with 100% Colombian labor and under strict safety parameters for our employees".

Sustainability: in recent years the steel industry has undergone significant transformations, which has led companies to rethink their work practices to make responsible use of natural resources.
How can we protect the planet earth without risking productivity or affecting employees' income? Luis Villanueva argued that one of Ternium's premises is to prioritize respect and commitment to the environment in each of its processes.
New technologies: artificial intelligence and 3D modeling and printing also gave a lot to talk about during the fair. Using these advances to our advantage is one of the greatest challenges facing companies today.

Homero Gabriel Molano, from Identiphy Professional, says: "This entity meets the specifications we need for a macro project we are implementing in the Caribbean. I came to the fair and saw that they have very good products. I see quality, service and it seems to be the company chosen to accompany us in all our processes".
E-commerce: focused on customer service, digital developments serve to optimize the production line, as well as to facilitate and streamline the deal with users. In the case of e-commerce, this strategy offers buyers more varied payment options and the possibility of acquiring products at any time and place.
